Alexa PenaVega (Alexa Ellesse Vega) is an American actress and singer best known as Carmen Cortez in the Spy Kids film franchise (2001-2003) and the 2011 reboot Spy Kids: All the Time in the World. Born August 27, 1988, in Miami, Florida, she has also starred in Ruby & Bess (2003), Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008), Machete Kills (2013), and numerous Hallmark Channel films including Love’s Long Journey (2005) and the Enchanted Christmas series.
