Gina Carano is an American actress and retired mixed-martial artist best known as Cara Dune in Disney+’s The Mandalorian (2019-2020), as the lead of Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire (2011), and for her pioneering MMA career in EliteXC and Strikeforce (2006-2009). Born April 16, 1982, in Dallas, Texas, she was widely regarded as The Face of Women’s MMA and transitioned into Hollywood action roles through her physical presence.
